One day Hands-on Workshop on ‘LED Bulb Assembling and Repairing’ was conducted by department of EEE as a part of association LUMINA activities on 30-01-2020 from 03.30pm-04.30pm at Electronics Workshop, A Block. It was co-ordinated by S6 EEE student Mr.Rohn Steev Mario,S4 EEE students Ms.Alma Treasa and Ms.Aashmi Brijit. The main highlights of the workshop were to assemble an LED from its core parts and its simple repairing.11 students participated in the workshop and LEDs made by them were returned to them.
Technical session on electrical CADD and Revit MEP was conducted by CADD Centre Edappily on 30-10-2018 from 02.30pm-03.30pm at seminar hall for S7 and S5 students. They explained bout the courses, jobs, and continuing education associated with these programs. The session was informative and encouraged the students to join the course.
A webinar on “Basics of HVDC Transmission “was conducted on 05-12-2020 from 03.00pm - 04.30pm at Google meet for all S6 and S8 EEE students. The resource person for the event was Ms.Hitha K.P,HVDC Design Engineer,Hitachi ABB Power Grids. The session was very much practical oriented with numerous examples and enhanced the students’ knowledge in the area of HVDC transmission from the scrap. Question and answer session was very much interactive. Different kinds of queries were asked from students. Overall feedback collected from the event was excellent.
Awareness class on NPTEL by SPOC at AISAT Prof.Ambily Joseph was conducted on 09-06-2022 from 03.30pm - 04.30pm at B 401 for S2 and S4 students of EEE Department. She explained in detail about the various courses available,course duration,exam pattern and also about other MOOC platforms. She also added that 50 activity points will be rewarded for a student who successfully completing a NPTEL course.Students asked questions like exam centre options, exam registration fee,validity of certificate etc. Prof.Ambily Joseph could clear all the questions asked.Mr.Sourab S. from students side gave a concluding remarks .Session came to an end by 04.30 pm.
