Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT), is an undertaking of the Archdiocese of Verapoly, an Archdiocese that has a track record of centuries serving in the field of education. AISAT is a leading educational institute offering quality co- education in the field of engineering. The institute is spread over 12 acres of picturesque area in a beautiful and serene atmosphere ideally suited for technical education. AISAT is located in the industrial belt of Kochi city, neighboured by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), nestled by the side of National Highway 47 and Seaport-Airport Road. AISAT has a well-structured infrastructure of international standards to help the students creatively apply scientific principles to design and develop structures and machines. As a member of KCECMA (Kerala Catholic Engineering College Managements Association), AISAT follows the criteria laid down by the association in the light of the Consensual Agreement signed with the Government of Kerala in the admission process, ensuring quality technical education without compromising on social justice, providing equal opportunity for all without discrimination of any kind whatsoever. The institute offers undergraduate programmes of four-year duration in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering ( Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) and four Diploma (subject to approval from DTE Kerala) programs. Five of our UG programs are NBA accredited and it is a testament to the exceptional quality of education at AISAT.

Responsibilities and functions
• It is the prime body responsible for the management of the Institution.
• Decide the overall strategic direction in terms of approval of the academic, financial and administrative policies of the institution.
• Recommendations and requirements suggested by college council is considered and reviewed.
• Ensures that the ordinances, policies and rules published by the KTU, AICTE and Govt. of Kerala are followed and implemented.
• To formulate new academic programs / short term courses / training facilities /seminars for student and staff development.
• To address the complaints of the students and staffs and take necessary actions required.
• Approve the requirements proposed by Principal for enhancing the academic excellence.

Internal Management Committee (IMC)
