Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) – Technical campus, Kalamassery, is an undertaking of Archdiocese of Verapoly-an Archdiocese which has a track record of centuries serving in the field of education. This great legacy of the Archdiocese today is maintained and fostered under the benevolent patronage of His Grace Most. Rev. Dr. Joseph Kalathiparambil, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Verapoly. AISAT is located in the industrial belt of Cochin City, neighbored by Cochin University of Science and Technology, nestled by the side of National Highway 47 and Seaport – Airport road. AISAT is easily accessible.

AISAT was blessed by His Grace Dr. Francis Kallarakal, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Verapoly on August 31, 2011 for which the foundation stone was laid on July 22, 2010. The college was affiliated to M.G. University, Kottayam and now APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, offers B. Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

St Albert’s College, a torchbearer in learning. A pioneer in making education accessible to everyone. An Institution with an exemplary history of 75 years of enlightenment, hard work, vision and wisdom. The College was ISO 9001:2001 certified by TUV Rheinland in 2007 and re-certified every three years, the latest being 2019.  In 2016 March, the University Grants Commission granted Autonomous status to the College. The College has also been selected under the FIST scheme of DST and Star College Programme of DBT and was ranked 44th among the top Science Colleges in India according to the Week. St Albert’s College gained international acclaim in 2012 through its recognition as one among the 10 Best Colleges in the World promoting conservation research. The College which stands proudly ranked 97th in India by NIRF is also a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities. St Albert’s College was nationally accredited with A-Grade, with a CGPA of 3.20 out of 4 in the fourth cycle of NAAC in 2023.

St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), managed by the Congregation of Teresian Carmelites (C.T.C.), is an autonomous college established in 1964 and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The college was awarded an A++ Grade (CGPA 3.68) in the fifth accreditation by NAAC, and it is the first college in India to be accredited in the fifth cycle.

It stands aloft on the banks of river Periyar in the vicinity of the historical Siva temple and the bustling metro city of Cochin envisioning empowerment of women through academic excellence and spiritual enlightenment for their intellectual, social and cultural enhancement.

St. Paul’s College, is a prestigious arts and science college which functions under the Archdiocese of Verapoly and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The College received the first NAAC accreditation in the year 2004 and now it is re-accredited with A grade in the fourth cycle in 2021.

Albertian Institute of Management (AIM) is a new generation B-School with a difference situated at a premier location in the city of Kochi. It is the management department of St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), owned and managed by the Archdiocese of Verapoly with century’s long glorious legacy in the field of education and social services. The College is accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC and ISO 9001 – 2008 certified by TUV Rheinland. Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. AIM offers full time Masters Program in Management (MBA) that lays the foundation for an in-depth analytical and conceptual understanding of Indian and International Business. The course imparts knowledge and fosters attitudes essential for the overall development of students thereby turning them into competent and responsible managers. The program has been designed after extensive research and provides students with multiple career opportunities.s.

Lourdes Society for Health Care & Research, constituted by the Archdiocese of Verapoly, reaches out to the community for professional healthcare services and education through its prestigious institutions such as Lourdes Hospital, Kochi (1965), Kristu Jayanti Hospital, Vypin (2000), Lourdes School of Nursing (1969), Lourdes College of Nursing (2002), Lourdes College of Paramedical and Sciences (2004), Lourdes Heart Institute & Neuro Centre (2007). His Grace the Most Rev.Dr. Joseph Kalathiparambil, Archbishop of Verapoly is the President of the Society.

Lourdes College of Nursing, Ernakulam located at Chembumukku along Kakkanad route began its journey of developing nursing academic excellence in 2002. The Educational Programmes include B.Sc. Nursing (2002), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2005), MSc Nursing in 5 specialities (2011) (Med. Surg. – 3 seats, Paediatrics – 3 seats, OBG – 3 seats, Community Health – 3 seats & Mental Health (Psychiatric) – 5 seats. Also we have GNM programme with 50 seats. Lourdes Hospital is a NABH accredited multi-speciality hospital with 720 beds strength, including 10 intensive care units and 12 Operation theatres, super speciality facilities and 6 community out-reach programmes serving the coastal population.

Our college has been declared as ‘Minority Institution’ by the National commission for Minority Educational Institution.
Presently 199 B.Sc. nursing students, 52 Post basic B.Sc. and 140 GNM students are studying in this Institution. Besides 16 students are doing their post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Child health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Medical Surgical Nursing specialty.
