Placement & Training (P & T) Cell offers to support budding technocrats for effective placements. The Cell is making every effort to invite companies / organisations for placements to our students.

The P & T Cell of AISAT promotes the students to learn the art of employability through short term courses that focuses on bridging the gap that exists between the curriculum and Industry. The Cell offers practical training program for Engineering Undergraduate students to provide necessary knowledge-base and practical skills required by the organisations, along with improving the Soft Skills of the students.

The placement cell is proactively involved in the vocational programmes including personality development, technical seminars and training  the students starting from the first year, apart from organizing various discussions with filed experts for the betterment of the knowledge of the students. The college has also taken the initiative to form a consortium of placement officers of various engineering colleges and industries in the state

The Cell is headed by Prof. Jose V Mathew, Director – P & T Cell.

P&T Cell Monthly Report

November- 2023

P & T Cell members made communications in the P&T Cell official WhatsApp group w.r.t ongoing placements and future activities.
Offline meetings of P & T Cell were conducted on 13/11/2023 and 27/11/2023 in room number B 505.
Sutherland conducted an online meeting ‘Academe-Industry Connect’ on 7 th December 2023 from 3:00PM to 4:00PM for Placement coordinators and 2024 batch placed students. Prof. Jibin Jose from Mechanical Engineering Department and placed students attended the meeting.
Department of ECE and CSE got accredited by NBA.
External placement training for two days was conducted by ‘Sharp Skills’, Trivandrum, for 2020-2024 batch eligible students on 17 th and 18 th November 2023 from 8:00 am to 3:35 pm.

  • External placement training for two days was conducted by ‘Sharp skills’, Trivandrum for 2020-2024 batch eligible students on 17th and 18th March 2023 from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm.
  • As part of NBA mock audit, external auditor Dr. Elizabeth Elias audited and mentioned corrections in the calculation of placement percentage- on the basis of students registered for eight semester..
  • As decided in IMC, two students (one girl and one boy) from each class of all branches have been elected as the representatives of P&T Cell executive committee.
