Mission

The International Affairs Committee (IAC) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant international dimension within our college. We achieve this by:

  • Connecting our college community with international opportunities in education, research, and industry collaborations.
  • Promoting cross-cultural understanding through student and faculty exchange programs, international events, and global citizenship initiatives.
  • Empowering our future engineers to become global leaders by equipping them with the skills and knowledge to address complex challenges in an interconnected world.

 

Objectives

  • To foster interdisciplinary research and learning by forming collaborations with universities, colleges and schools for joint research projects, knowledge exchange programs, curriculum development initiatives, faculty development programs and student exchange programs.
  • Facilitate the formation of collaborative initiatives among alumni to enhance networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities.
  • Networking with industry to foster global partnerships, facilitate cultural exchange, and address challenges through collaborative initiatives and shared expertise.
  • Forming consultancy collaborations to offer specialized knowledge, strategic advice, and practical solutions to clients across various sectors
  • Forge strategic collaborations and partnerships leveraging the resources and network of the college’s placement cell to enhance opportunities for students and stakeholders.
  • Implement an ‘Earn While You Learn’ collaboration model within the college framework, that provide students with valuable learning experiences while enabling them to earn income or gain practical skills
  • Harness the benefits of collaborating with NGOs and social service organizations to enrich the college community through enhanced social responsibility, community engagement, practical learning opportunities, and impactful initiatives that address pressing societal needs.

International Affairs Committee

The International Affairs Committee of this Technical Campus is a judicious mix of researchers, academicians and practitioners from varied disciplines. Prominent among them are the following:

  1. Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) and Santamonica Group of Companies signed an MoU on January 3rd, 2024 with an intention of advancing the internationalization of education in line with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020). The collaboration intends to leverage AISAT’s expertise in fostering global connections with higher education institutions worldwide, facilitating multifaceted opportunities for academic exchange, joint research ventures, and skill enhancement.                              
  2. Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) has signed MoU with St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, Cuddalore.                                                                                    
  3. Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) has signed MoU with Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijaywada.                                         
  4. International Affairs Committee organised an International Webinar on “Data Science and Applications” through Zoom platform on March 4, 2024. The Resource Person for the same is Prof.Dr. V L Raju Chinthalapati, Reader and Programme Director of M.Sc. Data Science, Department of Computing, Goldsmiths, University of London. The webinar was attended by over 200 members from AISAT consisting of faculty members and students.                                                                                                                                       
  5. International Affairs Committee in association with Computrain conducted a talk for the final year students of AISAT, Kalamassery on 15th March 2024. The session was handled by Mr. Zachariah Samuel. He spoke about the opportunities available for engineers for higher studies in USA, Canada and Australia.
