Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS)

Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) is one among the top most Civil engineering and Geotechnicalsociety in India. Dept. of Civil Engineering, AISAT entered into an MoU with the Kochi Chapter of IGS on 28th September 2013 with the sole aim to promote the professional /Academic excellenceand social commitment of Institution. The memorandum of understanding will facilitate effective sharing of knowledge and allow participation of students to gain valuable experience and training as interns. This collaboration has focussed on the upliftment of education in Civil Engineering through seminars, workshops and technical conference in the Kerala.

Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) students’ chapter

Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) is one of the leading professional bodies in India, catering to the professional needs of individuals and organisations involved in Concrete. AISAT is associated with ICI as an organizational member since 2013[ LM No. 10211]. Department of Civil Engineering made a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) with ICI Kochi Centre on the 11 May 2013 for promoting the society/academic interactions. The MoU was made to formalize joint activities that will help AISAT to enhance its educational and research capabilities and ICI-Kochi Centre to achieve its social commitment objectives. The ICI students’ Chapter at AISAT was inaugurated on 20 January 2013. The Chapter organises various technical programs which includes Seminars, Technical lectures, Cube testing competitions, Mix design competitions etc.

Graduates’ Association of Consultant Engineers (GRACE)

GRACE is an association of civil and architectural engineering professionals in private sector in Kerala, registered under societies Act in the year 1997. GRACE encompasses consultants, self-employed and employed professionals in non-governmental sector. It aspires to strengthen the Engineering Professionals by providing platform for professional updation and by interacting with various organizations engaged in engineering/educational Practice. The society entered into an MoU with an objective to work together towards the upliftment of civil engineering education and practice on 8 February 2013.

BIMLABS

BIMLABS is one of the leading professional platforms in exchanging knowledge and experience in Building Information Modelling. Department of Civil Engineering, AISAT signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BIMLABS on 4 of November 2020. This joint venture will help Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students to get exposure to work in industries related to construction, HVAC, MEP etc. BIMLABS will conduct training programs, design contests etc. for the students of AISAT for a period of 3 years.

CADD CAMPUS

CADD Campus is one of the best CADD training centres in Kerala,located in cities across the state. Department of Civil Engineering, AISAT signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CADD CAMPUS on 24th of June 2024. This joint venture will set up " Autodesk and Sketchup Design and Centre of excellence in the Civil Engineering CAD lab as an acknowledgement of MoU. They will conduct Hackathons, certified training programs, workshops etc. for the CE students of AISAT for a period of 5 years.

BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA (BAI)

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between AISAT and BAI Kochi centre on 21st August 2024 with the following objectives: 1.To establish a BAI student chapter in AISAT under the COCHIN Centre of Builders’ Association of India. 2. To organize National/ Regional/ State level Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Technical visits etc. in cooperation with COCHIN Centre of Builders’ Association of India. 3. To associate with builders contractors to provide internship programs to its members for familiarizing the nature of work in various projects and issue certificates on completion. 4. To collaborate, share and exchange knowledge and expertise between both parties The MoU was signed by Shri. George Mathew Palal, Chairman for The Builders Association of India Kochi Centre and Rev. Fr. Antony Vacko Arackal, Manager for AISAT.
