International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD)

International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD)

February 15, observed as International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) 🎗️💛 every year 📆👫. It is to raise awareness about childhood cancer 🎗️🔬 and to support children, survivors, and their families 🤝🌟. The day emphasizes the importance of early detection 🔍💡, better treatment 💊👨‍⚕️, and equal access to care for all children, regardless of where they live 🌎🌍. Established by Childhood Cancer International (CCI) in 2002 📆🎉, ICCD aims to spread hope 🌟💫 and encourage global action 🌎👫 to improve survival rates and the quality of life for young cancer patients 🌈🎗️. The symbol of ICCD is the gold ribbon 🎗️💛, representing the strength 💪🏽, courage 🦁🔥, and resilience 💫🌟 of children with cancer.
