February 13, 2025, observed as World Radio Day ๐ป๐๐. The day is observed every year on February 13 ๐๐๐ฅ. World Radio Day has a number of objectives, namely: to raise awareness among the general public and the media about the value of public service audio ๐ข๐๐ฌ; to encourage decision makers to promote free, independent, pluralistic radio ๐ป๐๐บ; and to strengthen networking and international cooperation between broadcasters ๐๐๐ซ. World Radio Day 2025 is dedicated to the theme of โRadio and Climate Changeโ โ๏ธโ๏ธ๐ช๏ธ๐ as broadcasters grapple with the need for increased coverage of wildfires ๐๐ฅ๐ณ and other environmental disasters ๐ช๏ธ๐จ๐.
