World Radio Day

February 13, 2025, observed as World Radio Day 📻🎉👏. The day is observed every year on February 13 📆👍🔥. World Radio Day has a number of objectives, namely: to raise awareness among the general public and the media about the value of public service audio 📢👂💬; to encourage decision makers to promote free, independent, pluralistic radio 📻🔊📺; and to strengthen networking and international cooperation between broadcasters 🌎🌍👫. World Radio Day 2025 is dedicated to the theme of “Radio and Climate Change” ❄️☀️🌪️💚 as broadcasters grapple with the need for increased coverage of wildfires 🚒🔥🌳 and other environmental disasters 🌪️💨🌊.
