Student Welfare and Discipline Committee

The Student Welfare and Discipline Committee at AISAT (Albertian Institute of Science and Technology) is a dedicated body that ensures a supportive and well-disciplined environment for students. This committee focuses on promoting the overall well-being of students by addressing their academic, emotional, and social needs. It plays a pivotal role in maintaining discipline within the campus, ensuring that students adhere to the institute’s code of conduct. The committee also handles grievances related to student behavior and welfare, providing a platform for students to voice their concerns. In addition to disciplinary actions, the committee organizes workshops, seminars, and counseling sessions to enhance student welfare. It collaborates with faculty, parents, and other stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive campus culture. The committee works proactively to prevent misconduct and promote ethical behavior among students. Regular meetings are held to review cases, discuss student issues, and implement policies that support a conducive learning environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Advice measures to maintain discipline in campus.
  • Devise action plans for the welfare of all stakeholders in campus.
  • Selection of best outgoing student
  • Selection of students for various scholarships in an academic year.

The committee consists of

  1. Vice Principal
  2. HoD from any one academic department
  3. Faculty representatives from every academic departments
