Total Tuition Fee Waiver/Fabulous Scholarships for Meritorious students

The Educational and Charitable Trust of Archdiocese of Verapoly will award scholarships to financially weak and academically meritorious students.

Total tuition fee waiver/fabulous scholarship for meritorious students have been insituted by the Archdiocese of Verapoly with the intention of promoting higher education in the technical field.


The scholarships instituted at AISAT are broadly categorized into two:

  1. Merit scholarship
  2. Merit cum Means scholarship (application form)

, the fourth indigenous Metropolitan Archbishop of Verapoly and under whose patronage the initiative for AISAT was commenced. The student who secures the highest aggregate marks in the first & second semester university examinations will be eligible for the scholarship.

Certificate2The scholarship based on merit cum means is instituted in memory of Archbishop AB---A.-MMost Rev. Dr. Angel Mary Perez Cecelia, who adorned the Archdiocese of Verapoly from 1919 to 1934. This scholarship will be awarded to two students, one under the general category and one under the community category. Along with the aggregate marks scored in the first & second semester university examinations, the socio-financial situation of the applicants will also be considered as the selection criteria.

Fee Waiver for Kerala Entrance Top Rank Holders

Fee Waiver is granted for students with Kerala Entrance Rank as follows:

• LESS THAN 10000 : No tuition fee.
• BETWEEN 10001 – 15,000: Govt Tuition Fee only

This will be continued for the following years, provided that there is value addition in the performance of such students.

Fee Waiver – based on Plus Two PCM marks

Scholarships will be given for eligible students based on Plus Two PCM marks as follows:


• For those having above 90% and above – No Tuition Fee
• For those having marks between 80% to 89% – Scholarship of Rs. 40,000/-

  • For those having marks between 70% to 79% – Scholarship of  Rs. 20,000/-

This will be continued for the following years, provided that there is value addition in the performance of such students.


The scholarship is instituted in memory of Rev. Dr. Augustine Konnully, an internationally acclaimed mathematician and fourth Principal of St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam.

AISAT-SEEM Scholarships for Energy Studies for new joinees in EC & EE courses

With the intention to encourage bright engineering students who seek admission to Electronics and Electrical Disciplines in the current year, to pursue studies in the field of Energy, along with their regular engineering course at AISAT, a scholarship scheme has been instituted jointly by SEEM and AISAT. Ten newly admitted engineering students will be selected for this scholarship of Rs.20,000/- each every year to take up Energy Study under the able guidance of SEEM experts. The selected students will be assisted through the complete course of 4 years, provided there is value addition in their performance. The Society of Energy Engineers and Managers (SEEM) is the professional body of certified Energy Auditors and Managers engaged in the field of awareness, advocacy and professional training in Sustainable Energy. This scheme is intended to create a pool of talented Energy Engineers and Managers for the country, to meet the acute shortage of qualified Energy management professionals.

Gold Medal for the Best Outgoing Student

Certificate3A “Gold Medal Award” has been instituted by Prof. Dr. Babu T. Jose, the Director of AISAT, Dr Babu T Josefor the best outgoing student. Based on the curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular achievement a two tier selection process is done. One who secures highest marks in this process will be awarded the Gold Medal Award.

Msgr. Jacob Chakiamuri Scholarship
