Our Activities

Arike :   A day to remember, filled with lots of emotions, laughter, fun and a ton of memories. NSS AISAT cherished their festive season at Vimukthi Special School on 20th December 2023 by spending a day with them.

Sasneham oru Oonu:    NSS Volunteers of AISAT celebrated the Christmas season by distributing a meal for the needy on 12th December 2023.

Slogan Making Competition: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology organized a catchy slogan making competition in connection with National Conservation Day on 14th December 2023. Alna Shine of S3 Civil won the competition.

World AIDS Day: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology celebrated World AIDS Day on 1st December 2023 by sharing the small token of tag to initiate awareness of the day

Constitution Day Pledge: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology celebrated Constitution Day on 27th November 2023  by taking the pledge and learning more about Constitution and its importance.

Seminar on Energy Conservation: NSS Units 506 and 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a seminar on 21st November 2023 on the topic “Conservation of energy through LED bulbs”. The session was beautifully handled by Prof. Annie Bincy, Assistant Professor, EEE Department, AISAT .
Children’s Day: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology celebrated Childrens Day by distributing Colouring Books and Colouring Pencils to our adopted school – Pallilamkara School, Kalamassery on 14th November 2023.

Ormikkan oru Dinam – Old Age home visit: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology visited the Abhaya Old Age Home on November 11, 2023 as a part of Diwali. The volunteers spend their Diwali with them. The volunteers shared their happiness with a cake.

NRPF Orientation: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology organized “NRPF Orientation” on November 11, 2023. Aleena (ASIET) and Farzana (KMEA), Ernakulam regional coordinators of NRPF led the session.

Swachhata Hi Seva: As part of Swachhata Hi Seva, NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology organized a cleaning initiative at Kadamakkudy, our adopted village on 29th October 2023. The volunteers actively participated in the cleaning initiative. More than 40 volunteers were a part of this initiative.

Cloth Donation Drive: NSS Units 506 & 301 conducted a Cloth Donation Drive for Goonj on 5th November 2023. A collection was kept and the students dropped in the used clothes. The primary objective of this cloth donation drive was to collect gentle used clothing items to provide to those in need and promote community welfare.

Safe Energy Conservation Campaign: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology organized an energy conservation campaign “SAFE” on 31st October 2023. As a part of this an awareness poster was circulated in every class.

PACE : Awareness Session: NSS Units 301 & 506 conducted a Road Safety Awareness Class as a part of PACE. PACE is the new flagship initiative of the National Service Scheme highlighting the importance of Road Safety on 12th October 2023. The session was handled by Joseph Mathew and Mohammed Rashid Riaz of S5 ME.

Gandhi Jayanti State Level Event: On 2nd October, as part of Gandhi Jayanthi NSS Unit 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology in association with APJAKTU NSS CELL conducted a state level program. All events under this program were conducted via online and were open for all students under KTU. The programs included Poster making competition and Cartooning competition.

Blood Donation Camp: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology in association with IMA & HDFC BANK organised a Blood Donation Camp on 26 September 2023. 77 people donated blood in this event.

APJAKTU NSS Cell – One Day Service Task: NSS Units 506 and 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology initiated a KSRTC Bus Cleaning on NSS Day at Aluva KSRTC Stand on 24th September 2023. Volunteers celebrated NSS day by giving their time to community. This cleaning drive was conducted as part of the One-day Service Task initiative of APJAKTU NSS Cell.

Suchitwa Mission: On the occasion of World Clean Up Day, NSS Volunteers of AISAT Unit Cell participated in a cleaning program as a part of Suchitwa Mission at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on September 16 2023. The cleaning initiative was conducted by BHUMI. More than 30 volunteers participated in the same.

NSS Student Induction Program (SIP) for First Year: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology conducted orientation session for the newly joined first year students as part of the Student Induction Program (SIP) 2023. The sessions were conducted from 12/09/2023 to 15/09/2023.

Aarambham – NSS Volunteers orientation program: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology conducted orientation session for the newly joined second year NSS volunteers on September 9, 2023 at Einstein Hall, AISAT.

Rudhirasena Orientation: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology organised “Rudhirasena Orientation” on September 9, 2023. The session was conducted by Sindrina Ebby, Regional Coordinator, Rudhirasena.

Blood Stem Cell Donation Awareness: NSS Units 506 & 301 of Albertian Institute of Science and Technology in collaboration with DATRI presents an “Awareness on Blood Stem Cell Donation on 9th September. “The session was beautifully hosted by Athulya A K, Senior Associate – Donor Recruitment and Counselling, DATRI.

Teachers Day Celebrations: NSS Volunteers of Albertian Institution of Science and Technology celebrated Teachers Day on 5th September 2023 by greeting our dear Teachers with a card and a Chocolate.
