National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28th February every year to mark the discovery of the “Raman effect” by the Great Indian physicist Sir C V Raman on 28th February 1928. It is celebrated every year to widely spread a message about the Importance of science used in the daily life of the people, to encourage as well as popularize Science and Technology. The focal theme of the year 2019 is “Communicating science for all”.

To commemorate the Great Visionary, Albertian Institute of Science & Technology (AISAT) is celebrating “National Science Day” on 28th February 2019 titled Science for Sustainable Future” sponsored by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE) and supported by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India.

On the occasion, AISAT is organizing competitions with attractive cash prizes, science exhibition, and science lecture. The competitions are open for school students from class VIII to XII. Science exhibition and lecture are open to school and college students.

“Reflection of Science”
Science Exhibition which portrays the use of science in daily life will be arranged in the campus.
It comprises of different models constructed by engineering students of AISAT.
Exhibition Time: 10:00am to 4:30pm
Entry free.
