These tools are essential for solving complex problems, improving efficiency, and ensuring safety. Mr. Ashwin Linu of S7 ECE was the resource person for a session on Crafting Tomorrow :Tools that Engineer our World organized by IEEE SB AISAT on 29th Sept, 2023. He enlightened the second year ECE students on Python, MATLAB, AUTOCAD and FPGA design tools. He also spoke about Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
2. PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design is a critical aspect of electronic product development, and its importance cannot be overstated. PCBs serve as the backbone for virtually all electronic devices, from smartphones and laptops to medical equipment and industrial machinery. A talk on Software for PCB design was organized for the ECE students on 25th Sept 2023 in the DaVinci hall. The resource person for the day was Mr. Gladson Sabu, Hardware Architect at Prodcepts Solutions Pvt Ltd. He addressed the about the relevance of High-quality PCB design for creating competitive, functional, and reliable electronic products that meet the needs of today’s fast-paced and innovative technology landscape.
3. A session on Evolution of Technology was organized by the Department of ECE association (EACE) on 8th June 2023. Densil Alias & Alina Biju of S2 ECE were the speakers for the day. The evolution of technology is a fascinating journey that has transformed the way we live, work, and communicate.They addressed the students about how evolution of technology has significantly improved our quality of life, expanded our understanding of the world, and opened up new possibilities.
