Churuli, the NSS Special Camp 2021 was held AISAT Technical campus from 28th December, 2021.

The camp was inaugurated by Shri. A.K. Nishad, Chairman, Health Standing Committee, Kalamassery Municipality.

The main project undertaken was the beautification of Pallilamkara Government LP School. As part of it, a park was constructed, flowers were planted and playing equipments for children were installed. Cleaning activities were carried out and a vegetable garden layouts were set out. Books collected for the school library were handed over along with a study kit for children. The volunteers took part in college park construction and were involved in campus cleaning activities.

A health survey was conducted in about 200 houses in the 22nd ward of Kalamassery municipality and the general public was made aware of the use of menstrual cups. Various awareness programs and orientation session were also carried out during the camp.

The valedictory function of the camp was presided by Rev. Fr. Denny Mathew Peringatt, Manager, AISAT, Fr. Manoj Francis Marottickal, Assistant Manager, AISAT and Shri. Jamal Manakkadan, 22nd Ward Councillor and former Municipal Chairman of Kalamassery Municipality. In total, the camp was a great experience for all the volunteers
