Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department organized Industrial visit for S7 and S5 EEE students on 20th September 2017. The team visited Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, which a treasure trove of machines and artifacts related to science and technology at 10.00am. Its interactive exhibits make this a great place for students to develop a love for science. There are exhibition Halls on Engines, Electricity, Fun Science, Space, Biotechnology and Electronics. Animated dinosaurs, life-size model of Wright Brothers’ flyer and Steam locomotive are other attractions.

The team also visited HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum, Bangalore which is   India’s first Aerospace museum established by HAL (Hindustan Aeronautical Limited). There are two major halls, one displaying the photographs that chart the growth of aviation in each decade from 1940.The second hall displays motorized cross section of models of aero engines, highlighting various functions of the engines. Some real engines such as Garret (Dornier), Adour (Jaguar) and Orpheus (Kiran) could be seen here. Apart from this, a sustainability development park which aims to educate visitors and students by displaying working models of solar systems, bio-gas plant and hybrid wind mills was also there. It was really beneficial for the students to witness the glory and growth of the Indian Aviation Industry through the passage of time.
