The very first Freshers’ day program in the history of AISAT was arranged and organized by the Management, College Union members and senior students. The first year students of all batches, were seated in the front seats and the whole college took part various cultural programs.
The program was conducted on 11 August 2017, Friday, at 1:30pm. The freshers were invited to the Da Vinci Auditorium in the B-Block of the college campus, accompanied by a band. The students were given a token of love in the form of a small greeting card and toffees. The chairman of the student council gave the welcome address and Rev. Fr. Joseph Rajan Kizhavana, the newly appointed Associate Manager of AISAT gave out the inaugural speech in the presence of Rev.Fr.Denny Mathew Peringatt,Manager,AISAT, Prof.Dr.Philip Kurian,Principal and Faculty members. There were many entertainment programs hosted by senior students, which included activities and tasks for the freshers, dance, and music. The program concluded with the performance by the college band, and the felicitation by the Vice Chairperson of the college student council at 4:30pm. The program proved to be entertaining for all the on-lookers and participants.
