AISAT NSS volunteers along with Principal Prof. Dr. K.E. George, NSS Programme Officer Majo Davis, visited general hospital, Ernakulum on 25th March 2017, Saturday. Students reached the hospital by 3 PM after which they spent some time with the patients in isolation ward. There the students saw people with different attitudes, some with positive and some with negative. Most of them were people who were dumped by their children and relatives. The time which students spent with them was a relief for those people who miss their home and their children.
Students distributed food packets to the patients and a sum of money which students collected was given to the authorities. The visit helped them to realize a new outlook towards life and that they should contribute more to the society as an individual.
