Human Values Development Programme (HVDP) Workshop was held at AISAT Technical Campus on 2nd and 3rd November 2016. The Chief guest of the day was Dr. Rose Varghese Vice-Chancellor NUALS, in her inaugural address opinioned that the higher education should also focus upon the foundation and formation of integrating human values into the next generation. Rev Dr.Clement Valluvassery,Manager,AISAT in his presidential address underlined that “Knowledge Without Values is Dangerous”. Memento to the chief guest was presented by Rev.Fr.Alex Kurishuprambil,Associate Manager,AISAT. The event was conducted by All India Association for Christian Higher Education(AIACHE) which is a professional association of 350 higher education colleges in India. Founded in 1967, AIACHE is a voluntary organization registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860).

The workshop on HVDP was intended to the faculty who will be involved in implementing HVDP in their respective colleges.  The workshop enabled the participants to develop a aeam to be involved in Human Values Development Programmes in Colleges in India, to develop and nurture positive mindset among the students/youth. Introduced the pedagogy in implementing the HVDP to students in colleges. Emphasize the need for internalizing the human values caught during their stay in the colleges. Impress upon the facilitators to impart the need to understand the positive perspectives of need for money and financial integrity and transparency.Understand issues involved in sexuality and gender.Positively involve in Nation Building by youth empowerment in Higher Education Institutions of India.

The Human Values Development Programme for teachers of Christian Colleges in India aims to encourage institutions to undertake academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the promotion of human values and civic responsibilities.The Workshop imparted a long lasting experience for the participants and resource persons.
