Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) organized IRON FIST-16; an inter-college technical fest for the vehicle lovers of new generation. The workshop was a platform for unraveling mysteries of driving modern cars and understands what goes into them. The technical fest was inaugurated by Ms.Jessy Peter, Chairperson-Kalamassery Municipality,in the esteemed presence of Rev.Dr.Clement Valluvassery, Manager AISAT , Rev. Fr.Alex Kurisuparambil, Associate Manager, AISAT, Rev.Fr. John Christopher, Assistant Manager, AISAT, Prof.Dr.K.E.George, Principal AISAT.
The students observed that the bikes and cars that are on the roads are of the latest technology. Although they were not aware of the tricks behind such marvels until some time ago, they are aware of it today with information readily available to them. They got to know about the engine and technology that goes into each vehicle. The students separated the parts of the cars and displayed at the expo. Apart from Auto expo there were some technical and non-technical competitions too. Vehicles of past and present were made use of at the workshop.
A total participation of 200 students from more than 25 institutions was recorded on the same day. Merit certificates and cash prizes were given to the winners of concerned events.
