The Nature club of Albertian Institute of science and technology in association with Green Vein organization celebrated World environment day by planting saplings at college campus. Swami Samvidanand, chief coordinator of Green Vein organization was the chief guest for the same. He appreciated the initiatives taken by AISAT Engineering College to promote activities for protecting nature by planting saplings etc. This time college has taken initiative to plant herbal trees helpful to protect against communicative diseases spreading over this rainy season.


Rev. Dr. Clement Valluvassery, Manager, AISAT officially inaugurated the program by planting first sapling. He mentioned that the management has taken up various steps to plant 25000 saplings in coming 15 years at the premises of various organizations coming under the Archdiocese of Verapoly. This initiative is a part of that and the campus has more than 1000 trees in the college premises. Swami Samvidanand, chief coordinator of Green Vein organization, Rev. Fr. Joseph, Ms. Ashna Joseph, Mr. Nobin Paul, student representatives and Mr. Aju John, representative from Green Vein organization  also planted saplings.
