AISAT organized “Sponsion 16” an oath taking and farewell ceremony on 4th May 2016 for the first batch students of the college(2012-2016 batch). The event started with invoking God‟s blessing by a prayer song by Ms Shilpa A.B (S8 CS). Dr K.E.George,Principal,AISAT welcomed the gathering. The chief guest of the day was Very Rev.Msgr.Mathew Elenjimattom (Vicar General of Archdiocese of Verapoly) graciously presided the function. He elaborately opinioned the importance of „CHAI‟ principle which means Curiosity, Humility, Adaptability and Industrious.He urged the budding engineers to keep up the humane values and to work with social commitment and also stressed the point that “When you approach people with curiosity and humility, they feel validated and that leads to a connection”. The Key note speaker of the day Mr Rajan M,Senior Manager(HR),Petronet Ltd, He urged the students to sharpen their skill set and also explained the latest technological advancements such as Uber and Whatsapp. He explained WhatsApp Messenger is an proprietary cross-platform, encrypted, instant messaging client for smartphones. As of February 2016, WhatsApp had a user base of one billion,making it the most popular messaging application. WhatsApp uses a customized version of the open standard Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP). He also mentioned the latest Uber working model which is an on-demand transportation service which has brought a revolution in the taxi industry all across the world. The business model of Uber has made it possible for people to simply tap their smartphone and have a cab arrive at their location in the minimum possible time. T

he Student Oath Ceremony was led by Prof.Dr.Babu T Jose,Director, AISAT. Rev.Dr.Clement Valluvassery wished the students for a successful career and inspired the students by quoting Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam “To shine like sun we should burn like sun”. Very Rev.Msgr.Mathew Elenjimattom was gracious enough to distribute the course completion certificate to the students.
