AISAT turns out to be the remote host for “Hack the Moon” hackathon which is a unique project to involve and invigorate the young minds of Kochi to the exciting world of lunar research. “Hack The Moon” hackathon is scheduled on 10th October 2015 at AISAT (Albertian Institute of Science and Technology) Kochi from 9.00am to 2.oopm. AISAT will be connecting to the ground station at San Jose, California (Sacramento/Folsom California is another ground station) where makers, hackers, artists, enthusiasts, trainers, programmers, students and competitors come together to explore and create our future beyond Earth orbit. The project is formulated and supported by Lunar Cubes USA. Flexure Engineering, USA who is a collaborator of this project alongwith Axcenta ITES Pvt. Ltd Kochi are the driving force in bringing this project to Kochi. Mr. P N Subramanian, Former Deputy Director Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will be the Chief Guest and he will inaugurate the hackathon at AISAT.
