The Department of Civil engineering organized a talk by Dr. Paul Mathew during the Empower hour on 25th July 2014 for the the third and fifth semester students. Dr. Paul Mathew is a staff scientist and Deputy leader of the Commercial Building Systems group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in USA. He delivered a very captivating presentation on the various aspects about energy efficient structures and related construction practices prevailing in the field. In his session, he certainly enriched the students with the innovations and progress happening in the domain of energy efficient construction, which has become a prime topic of concern in the contemporary world. Rev.Dr.ClementValluvassery,Manager, AISAT, acknowledged his excellent talk by presenting a memento. Faculty members of Civil engineering department were present on the occasion. Divya L., Asst.
