Ms. Diana M.K, Assistant Professor, Govt. Law College, Thrissur was the resource person for the anti-ragging talk held at AISAT on 24th July. During the session, she clearly explained the meaning of Ragging under the law. Ragging has ruined a number of innocent lives and career, and now the law is very stringent on ragging issues. Teasing, abusing, playing practical jokes etc. is a crime under the Ragging prohibition act, 1998. Gender Justice and Anti-ragging should be taken as an inevitable vow in every technical and non-technical educational institution – Ms. Diana M.K made the Anti-Ragging symposium very informative. Anti-Ragging awareness at the start of an academic year was the best thing that a college could offer for the upcoming generation.
