The Association of Computer Science Students, ENIAC organized a 4-day workshop on Java and Android programming for the fifth semester Computer Science students from June 30th to July 3rd.

Android is a mobile operating system (OS) based on the Linux kernel that is currently developed by Google. Android is designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers, with variants for televisions (Android TV), cars (Android Auto), and wrists (Android Wear). Despite being primarily designed for touchscreen input, it also has been used in games consoles, digital cameras, and other electronics.

The workshop helped the students to learn the basics of Android programming.
