With a noble motive of bridging the gap that exists between curriculum and industry requirements AISAT is pioneering its maiden “Bridge the Gap”- AISAT initiative to make engineering students learn the art of employability through short term courses. The practical training programs for engineering undergraduate students handled by eminent resource persons from industrial sector  was extremely helpful in providing a knowledge based, practical skills necessary to make up one’s career, along with improving their soft skills. The foundation courses, which were common to all branches included communication skills, time management, employability skills, industrial safety etc. The various sessions, concentrated on specific disciplines based on the need of job providers.  “Bridge the Gap” was extremely beneficial in establishing a good industry-academia linkage by engaging experienced trainers from the industry. The program came to an end with a valedictory function which marked the presence of  Rev.Dr.Clement Valluvassery manager AISAT, Prof Dr.Babu T.Jose  Director & Prof. Dr.K.E.George, Principal AISAT. In the valedictory ceremony the students shared a brief review of the training sessions and their experience on the same. The one-week program for the fifth semester engineering students was a grand success due to the active participation of students.
