“Cyber Crimes are not just about encryptions or algorithms, but is more about public relations”, Mr.Harjinder Singh Lallie very well emphasized the fact. He was talking on Cyber Security in a session conducted at AISAT on 26-11-2013 . The program was organized by CSI Cochin Chapter and IEEE Kerala Section. Mr. Harjinder Singh Lallie has a meritorious service as a Senior Teaching Fellow at University of Warwick, UK. AISAT Principal Prof. Dr. K E George welcomed the gathering. Mr. K B Rajasekharan, CSI Cochin Chapter Patron and Ms. Mini Ulanat, CSI National Student Coordinator and Chair of Student Activities IEEE Kerala Section were present at the function.
In his talk Mr. H S Lallie gave awareness about the present day cyber crimes, the different viruses used for these crimes and how to manage the disasters caused by them. He also explained the various security measures to be taken against cyber crimes.
Rev. Fr. Alex Kurisuparambil, Associate Manager AISAT presented a memento to the Chief Guest as a token of gratitude. Ms. Ruth Abey George, CSI Student Representative, AISAT delivered the vote of thanks.
