AISAT Engineering college conducted onam celebrations on 13th September 2013. All the students, faculties along with the management celebrated the day holding up the message of togetherness . With Onam falling just round the corner, all are pepping up their celebrations with Pookalam – the traditional flower rangoli, wearing traditional clothes like Kasavu – the traditional off white saree with golden border, and performing onam games. AISAT also celebrated Onam in the traditional style. Campus was filled with festive mood which displayed the culture and tradition of Kerala. Tug of war, Uriyadi, Musical chair, Onappattu, Thiruvathirakali – each and every events became more attractive due to the active participation of students . The pookalam competition become much competitive and every branches creatively performed in the same. Traditional Onam sweet ” Paayasam”, made of rice, was also served. The real colours and flavours of Kerala was filled in every events wonderfully arranged, by the students and faculties. The entire campus looked more bright and vibrant. Principal Dr.K.E George, Manager Rev. Fr. Clement Valluvassery, Associate Manager Rev.Fr. Alex Kurisuparambil, Director Dr.Babu T Jose also participated in the celebrations.
