Albertian Institute of Science and Technology celebrated the Nature Club Day with the inauguration of ‘AISAT- Green Campus’ on 30.07.2013, 4.15 pm at the college ground. The mission of Nature Club of AISAT is to make the campus eco-friendly and promote various activities to keep the campus green. As a beginning, the sapling plantation program was conducted. The program started with the welcome speech by Ms. Sreelekha. K.V., Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Inaugural address was delivered by Prof. Dr. K. E. George, Principal, AISAT. The first sapling was planted by Rev. Dr. Clement Valluvassery, Manager, AISAT. Dr. Babu T. Jose, Director, Dr. George Sleeba, Dean, AISAT and Rev. Fr. Alex Kurisuparambil, Associate Manager, AISAT were also present in the function. All students and staff members actively participated in the sapling plantation program. The program was concluded at 4.30 pm.
