Learning Centre for Numerical Techniques using OpenFOAM

The centre aims to provide training to the research aspirants in Computational Fluid Dynamics, who wish to do their work using open source technologies. We conduct regular workshops in the fields related to Fluid flow analysis, Heat transfer analysis, Compressible flows suing OpenFOAM.

Students from various colleges in the state visits the centre for getting hands own experience to do their project works.

The research works that is undergoing in the centre includes:

  • Analysis of fluid flow through the pipe bends
  • Analysis of heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics
  • Biofluid flows
