GIJUTSU-17 State Level Project Competition

GIJUTSU-17, the all Kerala B.Tech Project competition jointly organized by Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) and Alumni Society of AOTS, Kerala (ASA KERALA) was held at AISAT campus on 27th Sep 2017. The event was a technical and visual extravaganza with a wide variety of projects having emphasis on technological and social values. The competition was coordinated by Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, AISAT.

The event was inaugurated by Er.Deepak Sleeba,Assistant General Manager,NEST Group. Rev.Fr.Denny Mathew Peringatt,Manager, AISAT presided over the function. 20 teams consisting of students selected from various engineering colleges across the state participated in the event.

Amal Jyothi Engineering College,Kanjirappally won the first prize for their project “Solar Drier”. Viswajyothi Engineering College,Vazhakulam  was second and Thrissur Sahradaya Engineering College came third.

Rev. Fr. Joseph Rajan Kizhavana, Associate Manager,AISAT, Prof. Dr. Philip Kurian , Principal, AISAT, Er. S.Gopakumar, Mr.Joseph Philip ,Mr. Hudson Peter, members of ASA KERALA were present during the event.
