Control systems studies on how to manipulate the parameters affecting the behavior of a system to produce a desired or optimal outcome. The tools that form the body of knowledge, known as control theory, are applicable to a wide variety of systems, including electrical, mechanical, chemical, biological, economic, and social systems.This laboratory serves our basic lecture courses in systems and control, introducing students to a variety of concepts in signal analysis, servocontrol, open and closed loop system analysis, compensator design, and state variable feedback.
The design and simulation of control theory can be done using MATLAB software to work out the experiments for open loop and closed loop systems. The lab is well furnished with MATLAB softwares, AC & DC servomotors, synchros, LVDT etc.
